  On New Year's Eve of last year, I woke up with a large floater in my right eye. My husband immediately called the Retina Eye Specialist he goes to and we were told that Dr. Ply was definitely the doctor I should see. At that time, it was discovered that I had cataracts, which ended up being removed this spring. During the surgery on my left eye, Dr. Ply corrected the astigmatism - what a huge difference it has made as far as my functioning without my glasses on at times. I highly recommend Dr, Ply and his wonderful staff - they are always a pleasure to work with.

  "I see", said the blind carpenter, and he picked up his hammer and saw. Would, that is could be this easy. To that end...... After years of suffering with bifocals, cataracts, loss of vision and expensive prescriptions and frames (that were constantly breaking), I finally decided to make a huge change in my life. I researched eye doctors, surgeons and surgery centers, all over the tri- state area and everything I wanted was just around the corner. Atlantic Eye is five minutes from home and is a full service provider for all vision needs. Any Doctor that had the responsibility for F-15 Pilots and their vision is Tops in my book. After much research and lots of soul searching, I made a decision and stopped into Dr. Ply's office to see about an appointment. I was scheduled that afternoon, for my first consultation, and that in itself is amazing. That was August 23, 2016. Today is September 28, 2016. Since my first appointment, less than a month ago, I have had two surgeries. Both eyes now have Crystalens implants and I no longer have cataracts, stigmatisms or loss of peripheral vision. I can see better than I did when I was a teen and I am now almost 70 years old. Time for a Happy Dance! I have been through some very serious surgeries in my life bu have always dreaded the thought of a knife anywhere near my eyes. After my first consultation, I knew that Dr. Ply and his staff were the right choice . To simply say that the Staff at Atlantic Eye are "Professional" would be an understatement. From Reception to Billing and all of the Assistants, Nurses, Professionals and Support Staff, in between, this Operation is Top Shelf. Their support and concerns for each patient is truly unique in today's medical arena. I give them an A+, all the way around. My eyes are my life. I am a Biker, a Food Professional and a newly wedded Husband and I depend on my eyes for enjoyment of every part of my life. When you finally get to the point that you can no longer deal with your vision issues and you're looking for the best care available, do what I did. Research, research and do more research. I'm confident that you will, one day, walk into Atlantic Eye and take back your life. I wish I had done it a long time ago, but so thankful that I finally took that huge step to a better life. Mac
